What HiwaRadio needs from you
Android 10 or newer
The crew app comes from Google Play. Dispatchers and admins work in the browser, with nothing to install.
A data connection
LTE, 5G or Wi-Fi carries the audio. HiwaRadio does not work as a standalone radio where there is no coverage.
Someone to run People
An admin creates each account and sets its password. There is no invitation email, and field users cannot reset their own.
A retention window that fits
Recordings are deleted at the end of your plan’s window — 30 days on Crew, a year on Fleet, as long as you need on Enterprise.

Create your organisation
Signing up once creates your organisation, its first project and your admin account.

Set up channels
Mirror the teams you already have — yard, gate, fleet, maintenance — and put people on the ones they need.

Add your crew
Create each account in People and set its password. They install HiwaRadio from Google Play and sign in — there is no invitation email to chase.

Go live
Hold the button and talk. Dispatch watches every channel from the console.

For teams with data coverage, yes. HiwaRadio runs push-to-talk over LTE, 5G or Wi-Fi from a phone, so you can retire analog handsets and their base stations while keeping the same instant, one-button feel — with no range limit beyond the network.
